• Bruxism and OSA – recognising the one factor that can undo all your hard work

• Treating your body right - pilates for dentists; head, shoulders, knees and toes

There will also be ample time to mingle and get up for a stretch, with an opportunity to join in for some guided home pilates with Dr Jean Wu.

Dr Carolina Perez-Rodriguez | BDS, MJDF RCS, GDip(Dental Implants), DClinDent (Prosthodontics)

Dr Carolina Perez-Rodriguez is a Specialist Prosthodontist, having graduated from the University Complutense of Madrid, one of the oldest in the world. Carolina also completed a two-year training program with the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology, as well as a two-year Advanced Restorative Residency at the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD), and even a Post-Graduate Diploma in Implants here at Melbourne University.

Mr Szabolcs Hant | MDT

Master Dental Technician, Ivoclar Vivadent Opinion Leader Szabolcs Hant is a well-experienced dental ceramist and photographer. He started his study in 1993 in Hungary, where he was lucky to meet and learn from great masters around Europe. In 2010, he moved to Perth, Australia with his family and started an exciting new life. Not long after he met Dr Tony Rotondo, Prosthodontist from Brisbane, and together they developed a highly successful photo communication protocol. In recent years, Szabolcs has given lectures and hands-on courses on ceramic, morphology and dental photography topics and developed useful devices for dental photography.

Dr Ashley Mark | DMD, AEGD

Dr Ashley Mark (Canada) started out his career after graduating from the University of Manitoba in 2001. After graduation, Ash was posted to several military bases throughout Canada, Europe, and the USA. Having been selected to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program, he was able to focus his training on endodontics. Ash then wen ton to serve as the Endodontic Course Director for the Canadian Forces. Today, Dr Ashley Mark shares his passion for dentistry and endodontics through his successful YouTube page, “All Things Dentistry”.

Dr Damian Teo | BHScDent MDent, PGDip (Dental Sleep Medicine)

Damian is a dentist with a focused interest in snoring, sleep disorders, teeth grinding, TMJ disorders, and airway focused orthodontics. Ever since obtaining his qualifications in Dental Sleep Medicine from the University of Western Australia, Damian has dedicated his career to “looking beyond the mouth” and treating the body as a whole.

Dr Jean Wu | BDSc (Hons), Dip (Pilates and Movement Therapy)

All-in-one Dentist and qualified Pilates Instructor. After suffering a work-related lumbar disk injury, Jean discovered the world of Pilates and hasn’t looked back since. Nowadays she runs her own Pilates studio – Posture + Core Pilates where she teaches all those in the dental field how to move smarter and feel better.
